Taynuilt Options Study

Commissioned by Taynuilt Community Council, the main purpose of the Study was to identify and prioritise a series of realistically achievable project proposals for Taynuilt which had local support, and to outline the means by which these projects could be put into practice. Key to the Brief was the requirement to carry out comprehensive community consultation including every household in the Taynuilt area, together with local businesses and community groups. The Options Study has been a mechanism for Project Management since its completion, ensuring a community based approach to the ongoing development and has also formed the starting point for the development of specific projects including a further CLS Feasibility Study looking at the potential to re-open the old pier for community benefit.
