“We are delighted to have worked in partnership with Community Links since their inception in 2002.

This joint working has enabled us to provide our tenants, residents, and moreover our communities, with a range of direct, support, and ancillary services.  None of this would have been possible without the professionalism, skills and insight provided by Community Links.

Some of the help and services we have been able to offer are:

  • Funding to enable the setup of our Social Economy Centre to provide low rental office space to third sector organisations

  • Funding to ensure the ongoing success of Centre81, our community regeneration centre in the heart of Whitecrook, which provides a range of services and delivers community projects focussed on enhancing the ongoing development and regeneration of the area

  • Employment of support staff

  • Set up of support and advice services for help with benefit claims

  • Funding to allow our local community centre to provide essential services

All of these projects, large or small, have benefited thousands of people in Clydebank, and enabled Clydebank Housing Association and Centre81 to ensure that it is able to offer the best possible support to our customers, in particular our those who are vulnerable, or those struggling with the challenges of the present era of cost of living and energy crises.”

—Joe Farrell, Head of Housing Services, Clydebank Housing Association.
