Stephen founded Community Links Scotland and continues to lead the organisation as Director. With a background in housing and more than 30 years of experience supporting community groups, he combines strategic leadership with hands-on consultancy for community-led organisations.

He helps clients turn early ideas into deliverable projects, from business plans, community action plans and options studies through to funding packages and implementation. Stephen has particular expertise in community assets and capital developments, supporting groups to explore what is possible, build a strong case and navigate the journey from concept to completion.

Outside work, Stephen is dad to twin boys and unwinds in the garden. A former geographer, he remains fascinated by maps and the way towns and cities develop. He is also a lifelong Queen of the South supporter and still travels to matches with admirable optimism.
