Centre 81, Clydebank
Over the last 5 years, Community Links Scotland (CLS) have been instrumental in the continued success of Centre 81, securing a significant funding packages from a range of funders to support a range of community projects focussed on enhancing the ongoing development and regeneration of the area. Funding secured by CLS has included:
£83,206 from Big Lottery Fund’s Community Spaces to create a gym in the centre
£380,888 from People and Communities Fund for vocational and accredited learning opportunities for local residents
£183,878 from Climate Challenge Fund to deliver a community gardening and cycling project aimed at reducing residents’ carbon emissions
£123,926 from Aspiring Communities Fund to deliver Connecting Clydebank which focusses on ensuring residents are able to access the full range of opportunities available to them in Clydebank
